The Schutter Diagnostic Lab at Montana State University hosted a Mycotoxin workshop (November 14 and 16, 2006) which was sponsored by the Great Plains Diagnostic Network. The objective of the workshop was to provide diagnosticians with tools to identify important mycotoxigenic fungal genera, and acquaint them with the various mycotoxins and syndromes associated with mycotoxin poisoning. This workshop was presented in two 3-hour sessions comprised of both lecture and laboratory. The lectures were delivered using Acrobat Connect Professional (formerly Macromedia Breeze) and the laboratory material was presented using the Nikon DN100 digital microscope. Participants viewed the lecture on their computer screens and interacted with lecturer, Dr. Barry Jacobsen, by typing questions into Connect Professional and using telephone conferencing.
*All lecture and lab breeze video are in draft form and will be cleaned up as time permits.
